just some easy noob questions help

i am upgrading from win xp home to windows 07 ...i have a newer gen as rock 790 based board Comes with a driver disk for xp and vista...so where do i get a driver pack for all the devices on the mb. neither of the 2 driver disks had anything for windows 7 now 'im concerned.

i knew the first answer would be that ha ha...but right the only downloads are updates...not all the drivers on the motherboard you get with a driver disk. so now i am afriad to install 7 because my pc will never work he he

 

The drivers are most likely a standard part of the Windows 7 installation disc.

What is the actual model # for the mobo?

What drivers do you lack?

 

all of them .. everything i need for windows 7 to run with this board properly. i'm no expert i am not sure what all is on the driver disk...i have never had to install a mb without a driver disk

yep as i said i found the driver downloads ..but before i format i want to know i have ALL MB drivers for win 7 to work properly with the motherboard. not some a few not most he he..can anyone confirm all the drivers for my motherboard please?? i can guess audio and video if i used the onboard ..then there is some sort of chipset control as well?..

Those are all the drivers that ASRock supplies to run their mobo under Windows 7. The AMD all in one driver package covers the AMD chipset. Do you have some reason to believe that ASRock is not supporting this mobo properly?

 

thats not the problem i am a bit of a software noob like i said.i'm not sure what all i need...if i knew all the drivers i needed for win 7 to run my motherboard it wouldn't be a problem...

 

Those are all the drivers you need to run your ASRock board under Windows 7. The manufacturer designed it and know all it's specs. Install them and you're good to go.
