K-Meleon Tweaks

You guys got me hooked on this browser now I need your expertise.

I've written the Macro's in for the fast page load and the other plug-in's I was interested in but I still can't find any download tweaks.

I don't like the download managers they provide on the home page and was wondering if you guys found any tweaks or macro's for downloading?

Don't know BirdBath, but if you come up with the code to put copy, cut, and paste on the tool bar, I want to know. Ard said it could be done but it's beyond me to do it.

Wasn't quite what I needed, but thanks anyhow

I got the hint and got off my rump and figured out how to add my own Copy and Paste buttons. So far I don't have an icon for either but there is a greyed out square which is identified with text when you rollover them. They also change color when in use. My next step is to either change them to straight text (I saw a description but it is 4:40AM, so it is time to quit for now) or to add an icon for them. Thanks for making an OLD DOG learn a new trick.

If you want to try it out

Go to > Edit > Preferences > Configs > User.js

And copy and paste the following:

/* INCREASE MULTI-THREADED DOWNLOAD PERFORMANCE */
user_pref("network.http.max-connections", 60); /* Default is 24 */
user_pref("network.http.max-connections-per-server", 32); /* Default is 8 */
user_pref("network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy", 20); /* Default is 4 */
user_pref("network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server", 10); /* Default is 2 */

I changed the last 2 values to 20 and 10 they suggest 16 and 8 but my numbers seem to work for me.
