Karaoke to mp3

Hola,

I'm down in the sunny south trying to help my brother and his friend with karaoke. His friend has several dozen Karaoke discs he used to use with his karaoke system but would like to now employ them on TV screen through his DVD player.

This is a new area for me. So far I have discovered that my long time friend AudioGrabber will rip them to CDG + mp3 files. Then I've converted to mpg with Power CDG to MP3 converter.

Are there other freeware programs than can do the coversion? So far my searches haven't haven´t come up with any.
