Kazaa Beggone won't run

Okay...a computer geek, I am not! In fact...it's probably dangerous for someone like me to play on the 'super information highway'. My question is probably super simple to answer with out all this info but here's my profile anyway:

Windows 98 SE (4.10.2222)
1000 megahertz Intel Pentium III
32 Kilobyte primary memory cache
256 Kilobyte secondary memory cache
Hitachi DVD-ROM GD-S250

Here's my question: I would like to get rid of Kazaa and downloaded Kazaabegone from this site. However, my computer keeps asking me what program I want to open the file with. I know that Virtual Basic 6 is required to use Kazaabegone so I downloaded that from this site, too. Either I am not storing Virtual Basic 6 in the right place to be "self-executable" or I'm doing something else wrong because I can't get Kazaabeggone to run. I recently updated through Microsoft's Update site but that didn't help either.

when you downloaded the VB6 runtime files did you double click on it and let it install?

the file name is this vbrun60sp5.exe

 

hi there ive just had a quick look and kazaabegone is a zipped folder so you need to download winzip to open this folder i personally use winrar you can find these on the main site of majorgeeks listed under miscellanous or by searching on google etc once installed open the folder and double click the exe file and away you go
as for visual basic its a self installing exe so just double click to install
