I have run numerous Kazaa removal tools from MajorGeeks. I have now bought the Spyware Doctor & ran that. I still show Kazaa Media Desktop 2.1.1 in my ADD/REMOVE Programs in my Control Panel. When I click on it to remove it I receive an error message stating "RUNDLL, Error Loading C:\Windows\System32\cd_clint.dll
The specified module could not be found.
How do I get rid of this????

 

Download the file below, this is the newest version of this utility.

KazaaBegone 1.25

Once download is complete, install and run this utility. This will remove any and everything related to Kazaa or any Kazaa bundled prorgrams. After you complete the above, attach a fresh HJT log from normal mode.

 

I have already run KazaaBegone 1.25. When told to search it reports it cannot find anything. As explained it still shows in the ADD/REMOVE Programs.
Not sure what you mean by the last instructions:
"attach a fresh HJT log from normal mode."

 

Click Stat > Run > Type in regedit

Navigate to the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Right click on this key and select EXPORT. Save this to your desktop and then compress it (ZIP). Afterwards attach it to your next post.
