keep getting this message

pxe16 media test failure or something or other. the HD is not lose, it has been wiped since that and all seemd fine for a day until it happened over an hour ago. any takers?? i know this is a hrd one

one thing it says on here is to make sure nothing is plugged in. i have vodafone mobile broadban stick plugged in. could this be the problem? although it has happened without it so im lost..

 

you could try re-setting your bios to the original settings and see if it still occurs.

I have had a similar thing happen and that was the boot loader on the HDD and how i solved it was a format of the offending drive, but you could always download Hirens boot CD and install a bootloader from that.
