Keeping photos out of "My Pictures"

How do you keep photos fm automatically by default end up in "MY Pictures" in Windows XP PRO?

 

Depends on the program you're using.
What's causing your pictures to go there? We can probably give specific instructions if you provide more detail.

 

Download the photos fm Kodak Easy share....them I transfer them to a desktop folder...then have Picasa import them into albums of my choosing. When I look in Picasa they all seem to add themselves to "My Pictures" folder" within "My Doc's".
