Ok so I am not a Windows guru or coder so my question is can I run a keyboard command as a parameter when launching an application.

    For example if I run "c:\programs\ie.exe" http://google.com

IE will open and take me straight to google. But can I tell it to run IE and then hit CTRL + N to open a new window? Is there a string you can enter to run keyboard commands or to enter keyboard strokes when launching an app?
