Keyboard Issue

    My computer will not allow the numbers pad to work at all. The num lock key is on. I have checked the bios and that is not the problem. We have even purchased a new keyboard and the issue is still there.....Someone please help!:confused:

    Which windows or operating system are you using?

    Are the keyboards USB or PS2?

    By Num Lock being on the little light it lit ( if available )?

    We are using Windows XP

    It is presently connected in the USB port, but we have tried it with a PS/2 adapter and still get the same results.

    Yes, the num lock light is lit.

    Just a thought, I'm not that knowledgeable, but I had a multimedia keyboard I wanted to use with my new computer, and none of the special buttons would work, so I went to Driverguide.com and put in my type and model, etc, dowloaded the driver to the desktop for it and then ran install and it works like a charm now. Good luck!

    I agree with Knoble, But if that does not work out then chk the language setting in the Regional and Language Settings. The Language standard for ASkey format Keyboards is English United States. Remove all other Languages and chk
