I'm trying to reformat my hard drive. I put my WinXP CD in and restarted my computer. When it restarts, it asks me to "press any key to boot from CD", but it won't recognize any of my keypresses. However, once windows starts, it WILL recognize my keypresses. I have a wireless keyboard/mouse.

    Any ideas?

Sounds like you need a plain old PS/2 keyboard for what you're trying to do. Anything that relies on Windows drivers (like USB or wireless KB) isn't going to be recognized at the point you need to "press any key".
