Keyboard Numbers Not Working in Browser Search Fields

Suddenly, the numbers and symbols at the top of the keyboard do not work when typing in browser search fields (ie. google, yahoo, or bing). If any other alphannumeric or number pad keys are pressed, pressing any of the number/symbol keys will repeat last key typed. For example if I press "k", pressing any of the number keys at the top of the keyboard will type "k" again.

The only changed made prior to this happening was a Windows update.

You could try a different keyboard maybe something got broken. I had a problem a month or so ago where my keyboard got damaged and when-ever I hit "spacebar" it would go into hibernate mode.

What version of windows? Do you know what update? Does this happen only in browsers and no where else?
If it is win7 and only in browsers, I know the update and can tell you where to look.

Yes, it only happens in browsers, and it is Windows 7.

This refers to pages that do not support TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2

Your choices are to uninstall the update or go into the browser and see if you can enable TLS 1.0 again.
