Keyboard problem

weird problem with my keyboard.
When I power up I receive a keyboard error and I am not able to use it.
But if I do a PC restart it comes up just fine.

Has anyone ever seen this before?
Or would anyone have a clue on how to fix this?

It maybe the problem with ps/2. Did you try another keyboard? What kind of error do you see?

 

It's a PS2 keyboard.
I've tried a 2nd KB and that will not work at all.
But a USB KB works great...
Just does not make sense...
The error comes up at bootup time and all I see is Keyboard error.
But after it comes up I use the mouse to click on start>power off computer then I click on restart. The PC reboots with out the error and then I can use the key board with no problems
