My parents have a new HP computer and they are having trouble with their keyboard. Ièm currently typing from it, so you can most likely see the issues...I cannot type a question mark or an apostrophe as they look like this: é è These characters that are being typed are displayed in blue on the keyboard itself, along with the white character keys for the question mark and apostrophe. I have searched online for a manual that will help me to change this, but I have come up empty. Any ideasÉ(question mark)

I donèt think it probably matters but they are running an HP pavilion Intel Core i3...they are running windows 7.

I look forward to any insight you may be able to provide.

I think we might need a model number to try and find a manual.
Is this a laptop? Usually there is a key like Fn/NumLock that activates the "blue" function of keys with dual characters.

If it isn't a laptop it might have something to do with language settings. Check Control Panel>Region and Language>Keyboard tab>Add Keyboard and see which language keyboard is installed.
