I am working on a Dell Dimension E310 that has a BSOD Stop: 0X000000ED. I've done some research on this error but I can't get a keyboard to work to enter the BIOS or change to last known good configuration or go to safe mode. I've tried 5 keyboards but none work on this machine. The Dell doesn't have any PS2 port and I don't have a USB keyboard but I do have a PS2-USB adapter. I can't change the boot order and it doesn't have a floopy drive. Should I purchase a USB keyboard or another adapter?

Buy a USB keyboard, but save the receipt in case it doesn't work! I've dealt with these Dells with no PS2 ports, and they can be maddening. I've had the best luck with generic USB keyboards, or Microsoft brand USB keyboards. Some of the other branded keyboards require drivers and may not work in the BIOS or non-Windows environments...
