Kgb Keylogger

    How do I remove this from vista? I deleted the registry, but it still shows up.

    You need to provide more info ...I believe it is a legit program that someone installed ...are you on a school or business computer?

    My laptop. It is not legit, it is not even listed in uninstall programs.

    I found a file named MKP.exe
    Shownew does not even show it.

    MKP.exe ----> refers to Mortal Kombat ....what key did you remove?

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\uninstall\kgb keylogger displayversion

    There are no other reg entries.
    MPK.exe shows up in the process list from spybot.

    Well...if that is the key you deleted ...it was the uninstaller for that ....which is why you can't use add/remove to uninstall. You'll have to do a search as administrator and delete any folder and files it finds.

    I have searched and can not find the files. I located the prefetch and deleted that, but there is still a problem.
