Kitchen remodel #BR549

We're putting in a new Lyra quartz countertop (the pictures don't do it justice - the striations are more gray than brown), under-mounted Pegasus sink and Pfister faucet. The guys will arrive tomorrow with the new top - I'm going to take the old sink and the cooktop out today.

We are so excited: the house was built in 1982 and this will be the first counter work since then. Wish us luck!

I've always admired home renovations...as long as I don't have to do them.

Last one I did was scrape popcorn off our ceiling (entire house), re-texture, and paint.

I wanted to commit seppuku many times during that ordeal.

 

Nice! Really like the under mount sink.

 

Apologies - forgot about the pics. Granddaughter just took these - we've still got a lot of work to do (backsplash behind the stove (which I'm going to make), re-paint the cabinets, new floor as money permits. Baby steps.

Thanks, guys - we're happy as larks. Place is really going to look good once (if!) we finish with everything.
