Klingon Academy

Heya

I'm having a problem running Klingon Academy on Windows XP. Everytime I run the CD, it starts out fine but then I hear these odd noises from the CD drive that is fairly reminiscant of a CD slowing down and finally stopping. Then, I get this error message stating that KA.ICD had to close, and the option to send the error report to the some tech support team at Windows (which probably means I'm not going to be hearing from them unless I pay money). All of this happens before the game will actually start, and the wierd thing is is that it worked before on my compy, now all of a sudden it just doesn't.

The exact error message:

"KA.1CD has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

This is the file involved and is being sent in the error report:
