Kneber botnet virus?

    Have any of you heard anything about this new virus? I have done a search with most of the antivirus websites and not really seeing anything about it....

    That's strange because I did a search and got 220 results, with quite a bit of information. i used google, typed in kneber, it filled out the rest, botnet virus, there it was.:confused

    Did you have a specific reason?

    It isn't a virus, it is a trojan.

    the problem with naming, each security company will give it a different name; I think it has to do with fear of being hit with a "you stole our definitions file". So you might see it mentioned with a different name.

    Most of the main threats today are trojans, not viruses.

    Here it is called Zeus http://sunbeltblog.blogspot.com/

    Just look for botnet in the latest news and you might see several different names for the same botnet trojan.
