I have inserted my camera usb and my Kaspersky antivirus found Worm.win32.autorun.exe ( F:/Knight.exe) Kaspersky gave me 2 options and i chosed to block it although it said one unthreatened virus found . I removed the camera usb drive and started looking for the file knight.exe. I couldnt find it neither by performing the seach files options. I couldnt find it in Control Panel- add/remove window and i couldnt find it in my C:windows directory. The only thing i did was I went in my kaspersky window i right ckicked over the mentioned file and chosed Desinfect All.

So my question is do I still have this virus? and if i do, how do i remove it. Everytime I scan my pc with my kaspersky Antivirus it says: one infected file not found: Worm.win32.autorun.exe :(
And another question: will i loose the pictures on my camera usb drive?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Monkata,
    Welcome to Major Geeks!

If you plug your camera into the computer and do a scan of Kaspersky of only the F drive, does it find the virus then? Please see the following information:

    http://forum.kaspersky.com/lofiversion/index.php/t49276.html

From the information at that site, it sounds like Kaspersky should be finding and deleting this particular virus if you have all of your updates current.

If you would like for us to look for malware on your computer, please go through the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST and attach the requested logs with your next post.

    Thanks.
