   hi,
   im using knoppix 5.1.1 to access a vista hard drive. i can access the drive, but it will not let me delete a sys file i need to get rid of.

   does this file really need removing ?
   
   right click on the vista drive on your desktop and change the read/write mode
   
   or
   
   open a terminal and type

   Code:

   su

   enter
   
   then type

   enter
   
   navigate to the file and you should be able to delete it
