Hey...have you done the update on your XV6700 phone...if not you might want to hold off!! It fried mine, and the more I read online, this is happening to a lot of people (granted the ones that have trouble are the ones that post online) but still a ton of people are experiencing crashes and some are pulling out of it by doing a hard reset again and restarting the update, but some (like me!! :cry) are getting turned into $400.00 paperweights!!

Just a heads up!! At the same time though...there are several that are saying it was no problem for them and if it goes smooth, the new features are pretty sweet!!

Just an update...if you're interested....

Finally got mine to work...right after I got them to honor the warranty and send me a new one, but I guess atleast I am getting a brand new phone out of the deal!!rolleyes:cool

And the new update is definitely nice and worth having...I particularly like the screen lock option!!

Sounds like it...lucky you!! The screen lock option was not there until this update.
