Kodoisms.. the apple falls right next to me

So..the other day was a less than stellar day for driving and at the risk of sounding sexist.. I'm sorry ladies.. but the women on the road around me at that time had less than stellar driving I.Q.

vrooooom..

My son is in the back seat safely buckled in.. I got cut off off twice in the first 2 minutes of travel from my house to the sitters.. both of the jerks just happen to be women..

Mumble mumble.. 'You're not paying attention lady!' I muttered softly.. hoping my son didn't hear that after I said it.

last turn before the sitters.. another woman that even though she was in the main lane and not the turning lane that she'd turn anyway.. never mind the other cars..

Mumble mumble.. "Nice one you dumb ***!" whhooops!! ok, I was really peeved.. she could have caused a major accident but I was watching her and I had a feeling she was going to pull something stoopid.

My son: That's a bad word daddy. I can say that when I get older? can I daddy?

*sigh*.. wife is going to kill me

Yes, Michael.. it's a bad word and no, you can't say it until you're 30.

My son: I'll be 4 in August daddy.. i can say it after that..

Some grandma with her 2 old grand son (who was still sucking on a pacifier?? what ever.) is practically racing me down the isle .. ok, well, she's racing.. i'm just walking. Apparently she had some place to go.. like.. the end of the isle or something. She ends up getting stuck because there is someone...*GASP* in her way coming down the other side of the isle headed straight for her and there isn't enough room for her to get ahead of me because I don't care ..she's being rude.. so screw her.

My Son... My Son.. I love you.. but you got my in trouble..
mmmm. ok... I got me in trouble, you were an innocent parrot.

"Nice one.. get out of the way lady"

yeah.. and the wife heard it too.

Heh, heh! Well, it could have been worse, Jim. At least he didn't 'flip her bird'. Makes you realise just how much of an influence we are upon our kids, though.

I can remember when my son was about five, some trucker cut in front of us and my son yelled at him “Hey! Some village has lost their idiot!” That was when I realised maybe I shouldn’t be quiet so sarcastic in front of him.

Really funny . roflmao I wouldn't be so offended if a 2 yo called me like that, I'd probably lol. But she was a 80+2 yo lady so I guess Kodo was indeed in trouble.

 

No.. I said grandma..not 80 she was probably in her late 60's.. her grand kid was probably 2ish
