Komodo NEWT question

Hi

I recently ran this program and was surprised at how much info it pulled from machines on my network. Specifically Windows product keys and the like. Can anyone tell me if any of this info is transmitted back to Komodo or any other web server?

I have sent them an email asking whether any info gathered during a network scan is stored by them and am awaiting a reply. I also read through the privacy statement but that did not directly address my question.

Still it would make me feel better if someone not affiliated with them could give me an answer. It was quite a shock to see how much info they could gather on networked computers and even more when the scan placed some files and started a service on the networked PC. I probably should have read up more on what the default scan does before using it as I was only looking to make a map of networked PCs with basic info like IP and MAC addresses.

Basically I am just looking for reassurance that they do not keep personal information on their systems, including things like Windows and other product keys
