KrAIMer Rat

Today I discovered this (krAIMer RAT) on my AT@TYahoo anti-spy. I immediately proceeded to remove it.

Yet I'm still worried for a few reasons:
1. Supposidly that Antispy is not very good
2. From what I have read this does not adhere in file form so nothing was "erased" upon removal right?
3. How did I get this on the first place. I have not opened any strange emails (that is the way you get this supposidly

I'm just worried it has not been removed (even though I ran a scan again and it did not come up this time) and someone could still be manipulating my computer.

 

Personally, I do not like Yahoo Antispy because of false positives. I am not sure what was detected in the scan but I would recommend running the thread below and attaching the logs so we can see what's going on.
