KVM Switch problem

    didnt know where to put this since its not software but im guessing hardware. ive been using xbox 360 and pc with one monitor switching cords like crazy. ive got a kvm switch 2port ;c side works but xbox side blinks 'check cable'. ive seen a youtube video that has the same switch and works the only thing i can think of is he had it plugged in.

    That is because a gaming system is not compatible with a KVM switch.

    Okay but then how is it that I see people use switches on YouTube

    They are using HDMI MUX (Multiplexer) switches, not KVM's. KVM's are for computers (ie desktops, servers), not gaming systems.
