    Hello;

    I've finally got around to solving an audio issue I have with my TV tuner and or my onboard audio card. I tried every way under the sun to make the audio from the TV tuner feed through the audio chip. It doesn't work at all. However, audio out off the TV card will play perfectly through a receiver. I can also get perfect streaming media (i.e. internet radio) from the audio chip and audio out on it. My other issue is that I can't record streaming audio or TV from a cable feed with audio. The video is there but no sound and the audio streams aren't there.
    I downloaded and hopefully installed the latest drivers for the realtek chip. I can't seem to find a valid link for the tuner drivers. I'm frustrated to no end. What am I doing wrong??
    Motherboard ECS 400 A and TV Tuner KWorld TV88X are the hardware components.
    Thanks for any help this forum can give me, Walter:confused

    Hello Again;

    I've tried looking all over the web for updated drivers for the TV88X video card. The only place that has them is KWorld and their link is dead. There are also several dead links in the opening post of this Driver forum. But can anyone take a stab at the issue I'm having. I've followed the directions and nothing works in Video Capture and Streaming Audio Capture.

    I have searched all over, how old is that thing? The only drivers that i can find is win 98 and me, no support for xp. Might have to bite the bullet and get a new one. ed

    It really seems odd that all the download sites for the xp driver is bad.??????

    Yes, it does. however they all link back to KWorld. A few of the sites insisted on signing in. I was a bit lax and didn't want to even fake an e-mail account to get in. I took another stab by installing (overwrite) the CD with the XP drivers. It was really quirky and slow. The software stated that XP installs would take longer. The issue was not resolved.
    On the age issue, the card was purchased about March or April 2006. However, if changing out cards will resolve this issue, then so be it. I had hoped I was having a Statue moment and would get the Pigeon moment from this forum. Thank you for weighing in on this post.

    Hello Again;

    The sound issue is over. It was a software problem not a driver problem. I changed VCR programs from Power VCR to iuLabs VCR and instantly was able to record and route audio through the audio chip!!! it would appear that the Power VCR supplied with my tuner card was the culprit. And Yes, I did look at all the settings in Power VCR before uninstalling it.
    Thank you for this forum. It helped vent a bit and explore what to and not to do.
