I believe i have got rid of "kxvo.exe" using the other threads. Kaspersky online scanner has not detected anything on my laptop but has on my external hd. Here is the infected: "trojan.win32.vakilik.yl" in seven different files.

I am not sure if they are together or are totally separate viruses/trojans. I have included the kaspersky log, combofix log and avenger log.

    Thanks

Kxvo.exe seems to be back. McAfee picks up several different trojans upon startup.

Actually doesn't look bad...lets do this:

Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Now download The Avenger by Swandog469, and save it to your Desktop.

    * Extract avenger.exe from the Zip file and save it to your desktop
    * Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.
    * Do not change any check box options!!
    * Copy everything in the Quote box below, and paste it into the Input script here: part of the window:

    * Now click the Execute button.
    * Click Yes to the prompt to confirm you want to execute.
    * Click Yes to the Reboot now? question that will appear when Avenger finishes running.
    * Your PC should reboot, if not, reboot it yourself.
    * A log file from Avenger will be produced at C:\avenger.txt and it will popup for you to view when you login after reboot.

Also delete all files in the below folders except ones from the current date (Windows will not let you delete the files from the current day).
    C:\WINDOWS\Temp
Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this and also attach the log from Avenger.

Be sure to tell us how things are running.

Avenger actually ended up killing my computer, i think. Got a good ole blue screen midway through start-up, and just decided to reinstall everything. I think my external HD may still be infected, any suggestions?

What was the error message for the BSOD? I doubt it was avenger ....as to the external, it should have been included in all of your scans. Have you tried doing a repair install?

Message was about something of the system being terminated. Just did a fresh reinstall, as i had a little time to kill last night. I just turned autorun off for my drives. What programs can you target specific drives to scan?

Any of the anti-virus programs should recognize all drives ......some will allow you to choose not to scan certain drives ....does not Mcafee give you that option?

McAfee dosn't pick up anything. Kaspersky online scanner picks up several on the external. It is at the bottom of the posted scan file.

You'll notice where it is coming from:
    OnLineGames

The rest are in your system restore files which we will toggle when we are sure you are clean.
