Lack of Network Communication

OK, so I've been struggling with this problem for a few days, and it's usually something I can solve relatively easily. I have verizon fios for my isp and am using their modem/router combo unit. I have a Samsung 6400 series LED and an xbox 360 connected to the router via ethernet. I also have 2 laptops (1 hp, and 1 alienware) connect wirelessly.

Everything is working fine individually using the internet. Where I'm having problems is trying to get either of my laptops to communicate through the network with either my TV or xbox. Let it be noted that I have successfully opened shared files from my laptop with both my TV and xbox, but for some reason this recently isn't possible.

If I access my router, all 4 devices are shown on my network. I have tried many different paths to using the network for communication, like samsung AllShare, Windows Media Center, xbox video, etc. I've tried manually entering ip addresses, subnet masks, etc. for the tv and xbox. I've tried resetting both the xbox and tv to factory settings. I've tried system restarts on all systems, I HAVE ALSO TRIED DISABLING FIREWALL (I capitalized that cus it's usually the most popular idea). Oh, and I have also changed all my sharing settings on my laptop to the most liberal of settings possible. For a period of time I had my computer open to any and all sharing possibilities just in case it was that, which it isn't, because the other laptop which has basic settings also has the same problems.

The only think I can think of is that there is something wrong with my router/modem, I just haven't felt like contacting verizon cus I know how awful that experience is. If anyone could give me any help at all I would be eternally grateful!!
