Lame Ms. Pacman ?

I know I'm dating myself with this lame Ms. Pacman question. I'm running windows XP. How do I get the second joystick to function with the game. I tested both joysticks on the game controllers tab in windows control panel and they are both functioning correctly. I also selected the joystick choice in the game options. One joystick works fine, but I'd like to be able to play the game with my son when I select 2 players. Thanks much in advance. Ed.

 

Ms. Pacman, if by lame you mean mame, is a one joystick game. Call you tell us exactly which version your playing? a rom, a 'classics package'?

But my guess is it is programed for 1 stick just like the arcade.

 

By lame, I just figured that nobody was playing this anymore, and I would be a bit out of date.

It's the CD-Rom, Ms Pac-Man, Quest for the Golden Maze, by NAMCO 2001,and it's a two joystick game. There is a choice under the controls settings of the game to choose keybord or joysticks, and I choose joysticks for both players.

 

I kind of answered my own question. If I select the keyboard as joystick #2 it works. Not as good as a joystick, but at least my son and I can play it together now.
