laptop behaving badly

    hi there
    could anybody help? turned my laptop on this evening to find that the screen is coming up not upside down but on its side meaning that I am actually having to type this post whilst my computer is stood up on its side like a birthday card. Could it be a virus or is there something technically wrong with my Dell inspiron 6000:eek: it is also coming up with browsing not safe: Auto protect off has come up on browser bar. do have norton anti virus.

    please could anyone advise?
