    Is it possible to exchange a Pentium M 400FSB CPU for a P4 M 400FSB CPU?

As long as the voltage requirements are the same, and the CPU that you swap in will stay cool enough with the current fan setup, you should be OK. BUT- do your own research! I can't be held responsible if you fry a CPU or motherboard ;) so do some very thourough web surfing and get the info you need before doing anything..... good luck!
