A neighbor of mine gave me a an old laptop and it freezes up once a day. Its a Toshiba satellite L305D-S5900 with a AMD Athlon X2 1.90 GHz with an ATI Radeon X1200. Originally the laptop had windows vista on it however windows would crash all the time. I got a free copy of windows seven ultimate 64bit so I wiped the hard drive and installed that on it. Now it freezes about 30 seconds after I turn it on for the first time of the day. However, it only freezes the first time of the day than it works for hours with no issues. I initially thought it was a memory issue so I switched out the 3 gigs of ram (5400) for 4 gigs that I had laying around but it does the exact same things. I don't have any idea what it could be I did a hard drive test and it didn't find anything. Any ideas would be great. Thanks
