Hopefully I get this message on before it happens again.

I posted a message a couple of weeks ago saying how my processor was operating at 100%. Someone there (thanks), recommended reinstalling my virus software (sophos). I have managed to do that now.

I have also followed all the instructions on the below post
READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal

I have tried attaching the hijackthislog but it will not attach as a .txt file ??
    >upload errors.

Have had a look through it and it seems ok (although I'm not sure).

    Hope you can help.

Do not tell people to post Hijack This log files if you can not return to analyze it.

Do not tell people to format because you also do not know how to analyze a problem.

It is more helpful to NOT help at all, so some of the more knowledgeable people can spot a 0 reply thread and see whats happening.

    To the logfile.

Do you know what this line is:
    O8 - Extra context menu item: Edit with &XML Spy - C:\Program Files\Altova\XMLSPY2004\spy.htm

I dont see anything really bad in there otherwise. You need to update to service pack 2 when you have time.

From there, the question is, what is eating your memory? If you hit ctrl alt & delete keys, go to processes and click on the memory usage tab to see what is using the memory up. If you do not recognize the process, search for it on Google.

Let me know if I can assist any further.
