Well my laptop has been slow, but lately it is getting even worse. Took 30 minutes to restart and then be able to open and use Firefox and Outlook. I am running Windows 7. It feels like it might be malware or virus related. All programs seem to be affected. I have been through the cleaning process and was able to do all the steps recommended (I believe). Logs are attached. Thanks in advance.

All your logs show that you are running XP3.

Rerun RogueKiller and have it fix these items:
    ¤¤¤ Files : 2 ¤¤¤
    [PUP][Folder] C:\ProgramData\{46A1BDE8-F6F3-4E4F-82E8-1D09090E3438} -> Found
    [PUP][Folder] C:\ProgramData\{61CAF45D-9547-4D25-BA77-E33A2CE65109} -> Found

Now rerun Hitman and have it remove:

http://imageshack.us/a/img841/7292/thisisujrt.gif Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
    • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
    • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator.
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Attach JRT.txt to your next message.
Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode and save to your Desktop.
    • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
Vista/Windows 7/8 users right-click and select Run As Administrator
    • Click on the Scan button.
    • AdwCleaner will begin...be patient as the scan may take some time to complete.
    • After the scan has finished, click on the Report button...a logfile (AdwCleaner[R#].txt) will open in Notepad for review (where the largest value of # represents the most recent report).
    • The contents of the log file may be confusing. Unless you see a program name that you know should not be removed, don't worry about it. If you see an entry you want to keep, let me know about it.
    • Attach the logfile to your next next reply.
    • A copy of all logfiles are saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder which was created when running the tool.

Now rerun both Hitman and RogueKiller and attach the new logs.

Your logs are clean. Any further issues should be posted in the software forum.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8 or 10, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

TimW pointed out that you are not running Windows 7. You are running Windows XP SP3 which is no longer supported but see below as this is not really a valid statement. It is because you posted an incorrect log from MGtools.

In addition you have an old slow PC.
    Code:
    Processor x86 Family 6 Model 23 Stepping 6 GenuineIntel ~2493 Mhz
    BIOS Version/Date Dell Inc. A11, 7/28/2008
And to make matters much much worse, you have too little free hard disk space to run properly
    Code:
    Size 74.43 GB (79,916,818,432 bytes)
Free Space 1.81 GB (1,944,879,104 bytes)

Also ( not that it matters to your problems ) your log from MGtools is from 6 years ago so we cannot tell if any of the above data is even valid anymore.

OK, I'm definitely running Windows 7 but I may have posted the wrong log, though not sure how that happened. This machine is only 3 or 4 years old. The hard drive is 652 GB with 210 GB free. I wonder if the log file was copied over from my old machine when I transferred info to this one? I definitely ran the MGtools yesterday but I did not look at the log file at that time (mostly because I do not know what would be looking at). I just noticed the date of the zip file which was yesterday's. But now I see that all of the files in the zip file have a 2010 date with one exception. Do I need to delete that and rerun MGtools?

I am not finding any malware in your logs, but you have a lot of programs running at start up. You might want to consider a start up manager. If your system is still slow, I suggest you post in the software forum.
