Laptop memory question

    Hi, posting this on behalf of a mate. any replies will be appreciated. i dunno the answer myself but i'm sure someone will.

    I have just ordered a dell 1300 laptop with has 2x 256 1.8v 400mhz SODIMM DDR2 Ram installed in the extemded ram.

    However I have an iBook G4 with 1.3v PC133 SoDIMMS if I was to take out one bllock of the 256 sticks from my dell would it work on my iBook.

    More importantly would the 512 I remove from the iBook work on my Dell laptop or should I not chance it, and if it would work would the poerformance be noticable

    Nope! Wont interchange, completely different memory.
    Different pin out, Different voltage, Different speed, SOL
