    Hello

    Any help is much appreciated.

As soon as I turn my HP laptop on there is a problem with the mouse. It will constantly double click even if I do not click the mouse button. As I move the button over a symbol it will double click constantly and keep opening the application.

I tried a USB mouse instead of the touchpad but it does the same.

I tried having a look at control panel but its impossible to get to with all the clicking.

Is there a way to completley disable mouse and use keyboard to find solution?

And any ideas what the problem is? Ive not tried driver reinstall.

Welcome to the forum Mikey sorry for the late reply :) First thing I'd try is booting into bios 'F2' and disable the touchpad some laptop bios's don't have this option though,if this works you know for sure the touchpad is broken.

If that doesn't work try booting into safe mode F8 and see if the problem is still there,if not and you can navigate disable the touchpad in control panel.
