Laptop problem

Hello. I just recently purchased a laptop and have noticed after I use it that I have a very bad headache, my eyes are blurred, and sometimes if I use it for a few hours I feel very drained and tired. I was wondering if anyone has experienced these symptoms before. If so, will it soon pass as my body adjusts? Take care.

Likely you are infront of PC screen for too long, staring at the screen can give you tired dry eyes which will and can be irritating, so take regular breaks and get some eye drops as with laptops your closer to the screen and the heat generated will dry your eyes out, although no medical issues affecting sight are generated from using LCDs over long periods of time.

I dont get headaches but as my job is staring at detailed medical images on screens for hours on end I do get dry tired eyes, so use eye drops or take a break from screen and blink!

Could aslo lower the screens brighness a little as if too bright could cause headaches, change wallpaper to a darker one.

I had that problem after a long time reading the screen of my laptop so i now have a desktop for home with a 22 inch screen (i get bigger headaches now)

if you have a mouse attached (i don't know how to do it without maybe slide your finger over the touch pad) hold down the "ctrl" key and roll the wheel on your mouse it will increase/decrease the print on the screen.

A new feature of Internet Explorer 7 is Clear Type which makes the text on a web page look smooth instead of looking crisp and sharp. Clear Type is supposed to make reading text easier on a web page. This guide shows you how to turn off Clear Type.

I have to admit when I first started using Internet Explorer 7 the Clear Type text gave me a headache for a few days. After getting used to it I have to say it is much easier to read text with Clear Type turned on. I suggest giving Clear Type a try before you turn it off.
