Laptop problem

    Okay, so I've had this laptop for a few years (it's a Compaq Presario 900), it's in pretty rough condition and whatnot, and I wanted to clean up on it- I already looked at the READ ME thread, but it hasn't done a whole lot in relation with the thing. My brother started using it about two years ago after I got my PC and he just chocked it full of shit programs like Bearshare and Limewire, everything like that, and it's really taken a toll on the thing's response time. I've been meaning to work on it for a while, but have only gotten around to it now and I was wondering if anyone here could help me.

    So what is it that you want from us! Are you having malware problems? If so then you must follow the directions in the READ & RUN ME and you must attach all the requested logs or there is nothing we can do for you.

    If there are things on it that you know are bad, like P2P programs, then uninstall all of them before even starting the READ & RUN ME.
