Laptop Screen Shrunk And Doesnt Cover Whole Screen

    is it because i plugged in external monitor?

    Left click on your desktop and select "Display". Check your resolution.

    I wouldn't think so. I've plugged my laptop into a tv and the screen size hasn't changed.

    Yes, that will happen when the external display doesn't have the same resolution. If you right click and select Display Settings, turn off mirroring and extend the displays (both monitors get their own resolution), they should straighten out or reboot. Unless one is a 4:3 and the other is 16:9, then your stuck with the 'letter boxing'.

    i just unplugged the tv which is also a monitor and it fixed
