   I have a Dell Latitude Cpt s.Laptop
   498 mhz 256 mg of ram.20 gig hard drive
   windows xp professional.
   Can I upgrade the processor and add more memory.

   Until 2006 all you could upgrade in a laptop was the memory. I think you can now change the processor too. It can't be as simple as with a desktop, though. You'll need to have a technician to do the upgrade.
