laptop will not shut down..

    @Rikky ...oh, sure ...go for the one thing I forgot and probably the simplest thing that could be the problem (Thanks for the suggestion!!):) :)

    i did the first thing and under both of em i dont see program hangs but i see "errors" and then speaking of sound..recently my hardware??maybe messed up so now i have no audio...i did the second thing u told me..i chose "no sounds" and still

    nothin!?

    The HJT log list Lexmark printing software. Is the HP printer hooked up? If so, unhook it and shutdown.

    Did you disconnect the printer and try it?

    I also noticed you have several Toolbars installed, remove some of those and try a shutdown.

    Disable Mcafee and try to shutdown.

    AIM, AOL, YzToolBar, and one listed as no name.

    It's just something to try, may not make any difference.

    this was in my adaware scan...ive seen it many times before..seems like it wont goa way....im going to scan in safe mode and clean it in there...

    any ideas now?

    Just what you are doing. I looked at your HJT log but would be afraid to offer much comment, it would just be guessing. But, I would go thru the steps listed in the tutorial here, http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407

    Malware can cause so many different issues it would be worth your time to do the scans. If you have any problems just ask for help in that forum. They will also help with the HJT log you provided.

    ive done all that page says with the exact programs..no spyware was found..now im using bitdefender or whatever to scan...we shall see

    alright well..i took it a local place and they couldnt figure anything out..they did everything i did...so guess wat

    WE REFORMATED THAT SON OF A BI***...lol

    so now its alright
