Laptop will only work in safe mode....

    Dell laptop with XP home, only works in safe mode. I can start it up in normal mode, but after a few seconds I get an hourglass cursor and everything stops. I can't shut the computer down or CTRL+ALT+DEL or anything.

    I've ran spyware, anti-virus, and programs that are mentioned in the pinned post above.

    Then why haven't you attached the 6 logs that are requested in the READ ME. Without them, there is nothing we can do for you.

    When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs that were requested in the READ & RUN ME sticky:
    • CounterSpy - only for Windows XP, 2K, & NT users
    • AVG Antispyware log - ONLY IF NEEDED you were not able to run CounterSpy. - only for Windows XP, 2K, & NT users
    • Bitdefender - from step 6
    • Panda Scan - from step 6
    • runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
    • newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat
    • HijackThis
