Hi, i have a Dell Latitude D610 laptop running Windows XP Home Edition that got infected with the Antimalware Doctor and Microsoft Security Suite viruses at the same time, I went into "safe mode" and used Malwarebytes to remove them and it said it did, then I restarted into normal mode and Security Suite popped up again so I shut it down, then when I turned it back on after the Dell loading screen, it went black and does nothing. I cant go into Safe Mode because pressing F8 does nothing, but I can get to the Recovery Console on the XP disc, so Im guessing thats my only option for fixing this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

If you can get into the RC, then just try doing a fixboot.
