Laptop won't boot up

    My Acer Aspire 5920 will not boot up. I get a black screen with the following message:

    "A disk read error occurred
    Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart"

    I have pressed Ctrl+Alt+Del but all that happens is it returns to the same screen with the same message.
