Hello, all. I am new to this forum. I feel quite dumb at this time, but i formatted an old Dell Latitude LT laptop and wanted to install Windows 98SE on it, but the 98 boot disk does not have the drivers i need for the cd-rom. I cannot install windows if i cannot read the CD. I have, what i think are the drivers, on a floppy disk, but do not know how to go about installing them onto the computer. The hard drive is formatted and everything is ready for Windows. Can anyone help me?

The problem isn't that i don't have a boot disk, i have a Windows 98 SE boot disk, but the computer cannot find the drivers (MSCD001) for my external CD-Rom, drive. Everything is external on this laptop. The cd-rom is a Dell Latitude LT CD-Rom EXTCDR-1. Anyone encountered this problem before?
