Launcher.exe is it a threat?

Is LAUNCHER.EXE a threat?

I have done a search of this Forum and can't find anything about it, but a Google search turns up a fair bit some says remove it others say it can be a legit
part of some programs/software.

Doesn't appear to be causing any problems.

OK, I have installed Ad Aware 2007 and run a scan of all drives, identified a couple of things, can't recall names but none were identified as Launcher.exe, all were very short names.

I deleted them and everything appears to be ok, can't find any reference to launcher.exe.

Computer seems to be working as normal.

Launcher was initially found while doing a search for an article on I had saved on Launches (Boats).

Article is still there but the Launch.exe file has gone.

Might have to try and do something about this Paranoiarolleyes
