learning networking

where is a good site to learn about changing ports and networking in general? i have three home computers through a 4 port hub linksys i cannot dounload through blubster since i hooked up the network and have many ??? about networking in general i dont whant to wear you guys out by asking a thousand and one and maybe one more or two ?? . Also if anyone knows a good p2p site let me know. thanks jim

thank you for responding to my question how stuff works had a lot of info im still swiming in im gonna try the link here in a little bit . i also can not race at planet hot wheels any more becouse of this stupid router.. it does however block all pop ups and most ads.

 

Which is it?

If it is a router, I'd suggest going to the linksys web site or your user's manual and learn about port forwarding.
