Left over effect of removing trojan

With the assisstance of information from this forum and a couple of wine coolers, I have finally won the battle with a trojan downloader agent. However, I have been left with one hopefully minor side effect: I am no longer able to access internet explorer. When I attempt to access the internet I get the the "this page can not be opened". The computer in question is attached to a wireless network. All other computers on the network are clean and working perfectly.

Have you run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal

After doing ALL of the above if you still have a problem:

Make sure you have HijackThis 1.99 and follow the guidelines on where to install it and how to post a log as an attachment. This is all covered in the sticky thread NO HIJACK THIS LOG FILES BEFORE READING THIS: HJT Tutorial & LOG File Posting

Now post a HijackThis log as an attachment to your message (Do not post the log inline). All running programs should be closed, including your web browser, e-mail. Close before running Hijack This!

To repeat: Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the downloaded ZIP file. Place it in its own folder, for example C:\Program Files\HJT

I spoke/wrote too soo. The Trojan is back. It appears to be a about:trojan. Perhaps a downloader or dropper. I have followed all the steps in the Sticky thread and the steps on the HJT tutorial.
I need help. I'm about to fly the white surrender flag.

You posted inline and you have HJT running from exactly where I said not to put it. Please fix this and we can continue.

If you don't understand how to do this, let us know and we will walk you thru it.
