Legacy Drivers

    I have many legacy drivers in my registry even after I removed the applications.How do I delete these from my registry?:confused:

    What version of Windows are you using? The application that I mentioned clears the registry of keys for uninstalled programs. There shouldn't be any driver files in your registry. Further explanation of your problem would help!:)

    While cleaning out my registry I came across keys called legacy drivers for some old AntiVirus programs which had been deleted.Registry wont let me delete them.Windows xp Home.

    Try using the third option on CCleaner's menu which should be Tools. Choose the startup option, and it should list all programs loaded at startup. If the program keys that you are trying to delete are there, then you have found the problem.:)
