Honey remedy for skin blemishes...cover the blemish with a dab of honey and place a band-aid over it. Honey kills the bacteria, keeps the skin sterile, and speeds healing. Works overnight! Every seen a bee with a blemish? No? They you go! (Potential side effects....can seriously affect your partner's desire to get close with you during treatment process) Haha!

One of the girls at my bridal shower gave me a printout of stuff she got off the net.

Has your daughter tried just liquid witch hazel? It's good stuff and cheap. Use generously at night time.

I guess if it kills bacteria you wouldn't need to clean the shower after either.....

 

Never heard of the liquid witch hazel. Do they sell it at a regular store or specialty store?

I' haven't talked to her yet today. She is working, so don't know how she did over night. My first thought this morning was sure hope she isn't allergic to honey. She must not be as she would have woken me up. I could see pictures of her face all swollen and blotchy.lol

True. Most traditional athletes foot "cures" used urea, or pig urine in them.

Which is more gross, your own or a pig's?

I thought urea was present in the urine of all mammals?

And wasn't it the first organic compound synthesized from inorganic building blocks?

I had a weird interest in this a while ago because I was looking at the ingredients in my after shave (Cool Water by Davidoff, came in a gift set), and saw urea in the list.

Urea has the ability to form 'loose compounds' with many organic compounds. The organic compounds are held in channels formed by interpenetrating helices comprising of hydrogen bonded urea molecules. This behavior can be used to separate mixtures and has been used in the production of aviation fuel and lubricating oils.

As the helices are interconnected all helices in a crystal must have the same 'handedness'. This is determined when the crystal is nucleated and can thus be forced by seeding. This property has been used to separate racemic mixtures. ]

 

I believe it is only the males,
and isn't urea also used to inject the morbidly obese?(per request)
